By using or purchasing our software, you agree to this privacy policy. By agreeing to the privacy policy, you also agree to future changes to the privacy policy.

Personal Data We Collect

When you make a purchase, we collect your email address.

We use Stripe as our payment provider. When you make a purchase, Stripe collects your email address and your payment information. By agreeing to this privacy policy, you also agree to Stripe’s privacy policy.

Purchases made using Apple Pay are still processed by Stripe. In addition, when you make a purchase using Apple Pay, Apple collects anonymous transaction information as described here.

When you activate the software, either in trial mode or by using a license key, we collect a unique identifier associated with your device.

Personal Data Usage

After you make a purchase, we will send your license key to the email address you specified. Although we will try our best not to send unnecessary emails, we may also send emails to you during an emergency.

Your device’s unique identifier will be used to generate a “certificate” that will be used to verify that you are authorized to use the software. This certificate contains your device’s unique identifier and will be stored on your device. The stored certificate will be validated offline whenever the software is launched.

We will also use the unique device identifiers that we collect as proof during a dispute about the remaining number of devices that you are eligible to activate the software on.

We do not share personal data with outside parties. However, we may disclose your data in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.

We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics with outside parties.

In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user data may be among the transferred assets.


All personal data is collected and transferred over HTTPS.

The personal data that we store is encrypted before being written to persistent storage.

By providing your data to us, you authorize us to collect, use, and store your data outside of the European Union.
